Policy

Enrollment Policy

A verbal purchase order number must be given at time of enrollment. KLA must receive a hard copy of the PO no later than 30 days before the enrolled course start date. If no hard copy is received, the class slots may be released to other students.

Cancellation Policy

There will be no charge for the class if cancellation is received 42 days or more prior to start date of class. Cancellations received less than 42 days, but 21 days or more prior to start date will result in 50% of normal charges. Cancellations received less than 21 days prior to start date of class will result in full charges. All changes and cancellations must be verified in writing. If KLA cancels the class prior to class start date there will be no tuition charges, however KLA will not be responsible for any other costs incurred by the customer.

Credit Entitlement Policy

One earned credit is equal to one day of training for one student. The number of credits required to cover the cost of a training class is equal to the number of days in the length of the class. Training credits may be applied only to classes related to the equipment purchased which produced the credits.

Onsite Classes

Instructor’s travel expenses (airfare, lodging, car, meals) and shipping training material are not included in training cost and will be quoted as an estimate. Actual costs are billed upon training completion.

Instructor Travel time during transit to onsite classes is billable.

Dress Code

The dress code is business casual.

Footwear – Loafers, boots, flats, athletic shoes, and leather deck shoes are acceptable. Flip flops and slippers are not acceptable.
Slacks – Clean jeans and cotton slacks accetable. Inappropriate attire includes sweatpants, shorts, spandex, lycra or other form fitting pants.
Shirts – Casual shirts, golf shirts, sweaters and turtlenecks are acceptable. Tank tops, shirts with inappropriate messages/graphics and tops with bare shoulders, unless worn under a blouse/shirt or jacket, should be avoided.
Dresses and skirts – Casual dress and skirts are acceptable. Skirt lengths should be appropriate for office environment. Spaghetti-strap dresses should not be work to the training center.

Language

The training courses and training materials are provided in English. Unless arranged in advance, most training is not taught in the local language.
